Executive Vice President, Operations and Finance


Scott Ford joined Bradley Company as Executive Vice President, Operations & Finance in April of 2016. In this role, Scott evaluates and leads the company’s business and financial operations as well as the overall strategy. He ensures
the business is well positioned to excel in today’s dynamic commercial real estate environment.

Prior to joining Bradley Company, Scott served as the Executive Director of Community Investment for the City of South Bend, Indiana, in the Mayor Pete Buttigieg Administration. During his tenure, Scott implemented a strategic restructuring of the City’s approach to economic development that yielded nearly 2,600 new announced jobs and $440M in new private investment to the City. This effort was recognized by the Harvard Kennedy School of Government as one the “Bright Ideas in Government” in 2014.

Scott brings extensive international experience in urban policy having previously worked in the related fields of economic development, facility planning, architecture, and urban design.

Scott earned his Master of Architecture degree from Notre Dame and M.Phil in Planning, Growth and Regeneration from the University of Cambridge in England. Scott also has an undergraduate degree from Notre Dame in Government with a concentration in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

Scott’s passion for new urbanism, real estate end economic development has spanned his entire academic and professional career. He is currently an active member of the Congress for New Urbanism and the CCIM. Additionally, Scott has been involved as a Board member on a number of community boards including DTSB, INc, South Bend Urban Enterprise Association, Community Home Buyers Association, Economic Development Commission, enFocus, and the Industrial Revolving Loan Fund.
