John Jessen joined Bradley Company in 2014 and works out of the South Bend office, serving as the market leader and Managing Director of Brokerage for the northern Indiana region. In his role, John primarily focuses on office, retail, and investment sale lines of business. John also serves as Director for Bradley Capital Markets, bringing with him nine years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance.
Prior to joining Bradley Company, John received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. Upon graduation, he spent four years in investment banking working for Raymond James & Associates in Chicago, IL. At Raymond James, John performed a wide variety of services, including mergers & acquisitions, debt/equity offerings, and valuation and fairness opinions. John then went on to earn his Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, focusing on finance and marketing. Upon graduation, John then went on to spend two and a half years working in a wide variety of financial planning and analysis roles at Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor, MI.
John is a founding member of the South Bend Awesome Fund, which quarterly hosts a competition of area entrepreneurs and awards grants to those with the best ideas of how to improve the community. He also serves on the Board of DTSB, a not-for-profit dedicated to the continued growth of Downtown South Bend. In addition, John is a Board Member of the Fischoff, which hosts the world’s largest chamber music competition. John enjoys cycling, playing golf, watching football, and spending time with his wife and sons.
