Steve’s strong background in sales and leasing began in 1989 when he started with a Leasing and Brokerage company attracting tenants and buyers to a 300,000 SF commercial portfolio for a local developer consisting of 20 single story offices, services and strip retail locations in Lake Porter Counties IN. Later Nicksic became a key member of a multi-family development team that grew a 220 unit portfolio to over 3,000 units and annual development volume of approximately $50,000,000 from 1995-2001.
Nicksic returned to his commercial brokerage roots in 2001 managing, leasing and selling a 200,00 SF portfolio. While at Coldwell Banker Commercial from 2003 to 2015, Nicksic was consistently among the top 10 commercial brokers in Chicagoland. Currently Nicksic leases, sells and operates multi-family, retail and office real estate in Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties in Indiana.
