(Fort Wayne, IN) Bradley Company brokers Matt Wetzel, John O’Brien, Dave Horacek, and Bill Drinkall represented Capital Automotive Real Estate Services in the sale of five properties in their seven-property portfolio of auto buildings.
The properties, located on the Avenue of Autos in west-central Fort Wayne, sit a half mile east of the I-69/Illinois Rd. interchange. The five properties, together over 130,000 SF, sold for over $10,000,000. All five of the closed properties were formerly leased from Capital Automotive Services by the Kelley Automotive Group.
1125 Avenue of Autos was purchased by the Rohrman Auto Group. The dealership previously occupied the building under a sublease. 505, 633, and 811 Avenue of Autos were purchased by the Fort Wayne Municipal Building Corp., for use as city maintenance facilities. The final site, 818 Avenue of Autos, was purchased by a developer for conversion of the facility for a Caliber Collision Center location. Caliber Collision is a national full-service auto body repair and painting provider.
