On top of closing the initial agreement, two new tenants were also added to the property at the time of sale, driving the center to full occupancy. The retail center, located along Muskegon County’s retail corridor at 5169 Harvey St. in Norton Shores, occupies 10,500 square feet of space where it stands.

Our president and CEO Brad Toothaker made a statement generally referencing the retail sector along with its condition in West Michigan specifically. He stated, “While the retail sector has experienced increased vacancy levels due to big box store closings on the national level, in West Michigan, there has been continued interest from investors and tenants to purchase and occupy retail centers and grocery-anchored developments that cater to local residents and the many visitors who support the local tourism economy.”

The center is located in a highly active retail corridor consisting of several popular brands including Dunham’s Sports, TJ Maxx, Texas Roadhouse, and Meijer. The location will be ideal for growth due to its position in a considerably vibrant vicinity. The city of Norton Shores itself offers numerous amenities including its proximity to the shores of Lake Michigan and its short distance from Michigan’s Adventure Amusement Park. The center’s newest tenants will be sure to thrive in their newly chosen home space.
