(South Bend, Ind.) — Bradley Company is proud to announce that Senior Vice President Matt Wetzel has been named to the Michiana Forty Under 40 Class of 2026, an honor recognizing emerging leaders who are making a significant impact through their professional achievements, community involvement, and leadership across the region.
Presented by the South Bend Regional Chamber and Young Professionals Network South Bend, the Michiana Forty Under 40 program recognizes outstanding young professionals who demonstrate excellence in their careers while making meaningful contributions to their communities. The 2026 class marks the program’s 20th year of honoring the region’s most accomplished emerging leaders.
Since joining Bradley Company as a brokerage support intern in 2013, Wetzel has built one of the region’s most active industrial brokerage practices, advising manufacturers, developers, investors, and business owners on complex real estate decisions throughout Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan.
In 2025 alone, Wetzel completed 60 commercial real estate transactions totaling nearly $40 million and more than 1.4 million square feet. His work has helped facilitate business expansion, industrial investment, redevelopment projects, housing development, and job creation across the Michiana region.
Among Wetzel’s recent projects are the assemblage of a 72-acre campus for Gurley Leep Automotive in Mishawaka, the sale of the 317,436-square-foot Sample Street Business Complex in South Bend to Seaflo Marine & RV North America, and the acquisition of the former Oak Grove Mobile Home Park for Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County’s Woodfield Crossing redevelopment project.
In 2025, Wetzel also earned the SIOR designation through the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, one of the commercial real estate industry’s most respected professional credentials. Only the industry’s top professionals qualify, with approximately 4,000 members worldwide.
“Matt’s success is the result of years of consistent performance, strong client relationships, and a genuine commitment to the communities he serves,” said Chad Phillips, President & CEO of Bradley Company. “Whether he’s helping a business expand, supporting a redevelopment project, or contributing to regional growth initiatives, Matt approaches every opportunity with the same level of professionalism and care. This recognition is well deserved.”
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Wetzel is actively involved in organizations that support economic development and community growth throughout the region. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Business Development Corporation (BDC), sits on the Advisory Board of the Miracle League of Northern Indiana, and has contributed to regional planning and development initiatives through the Regional Cities Initiative and the St. Joseph County Master Plan Land Use Committee. He is also a graduate of Leadership South Bend Mishawaka.
The Michiana Forty Under 40 program celebrates individuals who excel in their professions while dedicating their time and talents to improving their communities. Honorees will be recognized during the 2026 Michiana Forty Under 40 Awards Celebration.
